One night, while watching Field of Dreams, I had an awakening. Kevin Costner’s character said, “I’m 36 years old, and I feel like I haven’t done anything special with my life.” Those words shook me. In that instant, the universe whispered in my ear, “If you build it, he will come.”

 

So, I did. I dismantled the life I had settled for and chased the one I had always dreamed of. It was messy, unpredictable, and just as wild as carving a baseball diamond out of a cornfield. But then, something extraordinary happened.
